Chunky vintage pine wall shelf and supports with curved cut ins 70s 80s
Love this simple wall shelf, a classic 80s look that I remember well from my bedroom! Way chunkier and bigger than anything contemporary - the grain, figuration and tone of the wood is beautiful.
There are some slight patches of minor damage to the finish as shown in photos, but only minor and the visible edges look great.
Easy to fix to the wall, it has inset fixings that just hook over a screw in the wall. The supports are nailed through the top of the shelf.

Utility CC41 oak mid century modernist side table with mirrored top
Part of the classic Utility range, made between 1941 and 1951 - this is a beautifully simple side table, that has been fitted with a mirror top. Not original! You can see on the underneath that the old top has gone and a new backing put in. It creates a really nice effect and makes an old piece contemporary and may have saved it from the skip
There is no label confirming its CC41 provenance - but we have seen identical tables with the mark on the underside (which has since been replaced on this one).
The mirror has some very light scratches here and there but overall is great. Frame is well built with no movement and minimal signs of wear or damage.

Danish mid century rocking chair by Thomas Harlev for Farstrup 60s painted white
Beautiful rocking chair by the Danish maker Farstrup, dating to the late 1960s. Still incredibly comfy and it rocks very smoothly. The frame is solid and strong.
At some point in its life it has been given a paint job, the close photos show the white paint - it's not a professional job, but it is pretty good and has held up well.
The coil springs in the base are strong and provide a good level of support. The cushion is of an age and could do with replacement - ok as is but would be great with a new one. One side has a few holes in, whereas the other is fine.

Vintage 1970s tall wooden stool with woven rope seat in a bright yellow
Cute stool from the 70s, with light beech wood and a great vibrant colour pop rope woven seat.
The finish on the wood has some wear and marking as seen in photos but the frame is solid. The woven rope is nice and tight and is in very good order.

Vintage medical dental metal industrial storage cabinet trolley on wheels
Classic vintage medical cabinet, these were built to last and still look amazing. Probably dates to the 60s or 70s.
The finish is pretty good with only a few marks and discolouration as shown in the photos. We cleaned and oiled the original rubber castors so they are now moving well and it rolls nicely.
There would have been glass or some kind of covering on the top and above the bottom cabinet - but they have been lost in time. Means it could be used to hold bottles and tall glasses as a drinks trolley.

Vintage arts & crafts style oak wooden slim paperback bookcase display hallway piece
Such a handy and beautiful bookcase, perfectly proportioned for penguin paperback sized tomes.
Very built, solid and strong with small design flourishes here and there - it is indebted to arts and crafts, probably made in the 1930s we think.
In great condition, minor marks here and there but hardly anything. Perfect piece to have in a hallway or corner that needs some colour and simplicity.

Set of 4 Aldo Jacober ‘Trieste’ black folding chairs 1960s made by Alberto Bazzani
Often imitated since they were first made in 1965, these folding chairs are some of the best ever made and designed. Made from chunky beech wood, they have a nice weight to them and are built for use. Originally made for an exhibition in Trieste, hence the nickname.
Plenty of similar chairs are attributed to Jacober- but you can tell an original by the deep back and curved finish. When folded the back leg folds within the back rest - where as with copycats the back leg will sit proud of the rest of the frame.
They would have originally been in a clear varnish or perhaps red - but someone has painted them black a while ago. They have done a pretty good job of painting them - but there are clear points at which the finish has become scratched and damaged. Check photos and price reflects this.
All 4 slide and move freely when being closed and opened. They are comfy and solid to sit in.

Vintage wire metal wavy DVD storage rack stand 90s ikea - pair available
Great tower storage for that prized DVD collection. Ikea made very similar ones back in the 90s, but I cannot guarantee these are the exact same.
In good strong condition, but there are some small signs of tarnishing and patina on some areas.

1962 Mid century large wooden storage / archival artefact museum box coffee table or display piece
Stunning wooden boxes that were once used in the British Museum. Incredibly strong and built to last, they have been in use but still look great.
Built from top quality ply bound with metal reinforced corners and this one has a lid with an overlap.
We have styled this one as a coffee table, could be used for all sorts of course.
They have two brass frames on the front to add a title or description of contents - and a handle either end.
Each one has a reinforced bottom and an individual printed mark, this one is dated to 1962 and with the name G. Barrett

I love handmade pieces like this - clearly a one off that someone slaved over to create. This will not be for everyone (Sofie Magpie included!) - but if you are like me you will adore it!
The conical long fluted glass case has dashes of brushstroke like colour along it - it then nestles nicely into the spiral red frame.

Amazing super stylish floor lamp, we have 2 available! Price is for one if you want both please let me know.
Sleek, wonderfully thin profile - the base is barely there and the design means the profile changes from every angle.
The condition is great, there are some small issues with the finish due to some errant stickers being on, but to be honest they are barely noticeable and have to be really searched out using the right angle of light. Check photos to see what i mean.
Aside from that minor issue, they work amazingly well - they are fully dimmable giving a great range of light. The metal and structure is sound, solid and will last for ages.

Vintage Chinese dragon ginger jar lamp and wooden base from Hong Kong
Wonderful piece of ceramic art that has been turned into a vase at some point. This is often done to either ginger or temple jars.
The illustration and colours are wonderful, very clean and full of depth.
The base is wooden lacquered reddy brown with a “made in Hong Kong” sticker.
Light has been fully PAT tested. It has a bayonet fixing.

Lovely vintage classical alabaster table lamp, beautiful cream and off white with very light grey veining.
It’s in good vintage condition, one or two minor marks and a chip to the base near the flex entry (so can be positioned at the back) - shown in photos.
Fitted with a new black bayonet bulb holder, silver grey braided flex and a black plug.
Our lamps have been fitted & wired by a local qualified electrician.
We finish them with new grey felt on the bottom to protect surfaces, allowing for roughly 2 metres length of cord before the plug.

Chunky 1980s ceramic table lamp with pastel floral illustrations and gold detailing
Quirky piece and we have not seen any similar!
It has a beautiful design and colouring on both base and shade with gold accents and expressive illustrations. We believe it dates to the 80s or perhaps slightly earlier, really well made and heavy piece of lighting.
Condition is great - no chips or marks that we have seen, it is a solid and chunky piece with a nice weight to it.

Vintage Jamestown Furniture British Oak nightstand or side table arts crafts style
Lovely little bedside table or lamp table, made by the longstanding US comapany Jamestown - under their ‘British Oak’ brand. Confusingly it is made using American Oak!
We have found examples of this piece being made in 1940, so the design is at least that old but perhaps more. We think this is a more recent version. On the underneath is the logo, details and a faded bit that we think is 2001 date.
Its a nice chunky piece with great grain and some nice arts and crafts style carvings and detailing.
Condition is good, solid and strong but with 2 small cracks as shown in the photos.
