Vintage Burmese asian lacquerware black and gold table lamp with cream fabric shade

Possibly originally a buddhist offering vessel, at some point this large lacquerware piece was adapted into a fine table lamp.

The original top is still present and shown in the last photo. It is large but quite light for its size due to the material. The shade is high quality double walled fabric shade and fixes to below the bulb holder.

Condition is good and has been newly rewired and checked. There are some small dings and damage to the piece, most noticeably the chip in the middle - check photos.
