Vintage bentwood Thonet style cafe bistro coat hat stand modernist

Using the classic Thonet design of the late 19th century - we believe this one was made in the 1960s or 70s.

It’s in really nice condition, and strong and the top spins easily (it is not removable like some). Three legs means it’s not quite as solid as the four legged versions.

Nice deep tone and finish to the wood. This one has flat curved bands of wood to create the arms and legs, unlike many that are all tubular bent pieces. Creates a slimmer and more subtle profile with rounded ends on the arms.

There is a slight damage to the tip of one of the arms - not visible unless you are very tall! Some other small scuffs and marks to the finish in places, to be expected for its age but nothing major.
