Stag Fineline curved dressing table / desk by John & Sylvia Reid mid century

Designed in the late 50s and sold in the early 60s, this dressing table was part of the highly collectable Fine Line series of products, created by the legends John & Sylvia Reid - a simple yet striking set of pieces that mixed mid century with Modernist minimal clean lines.

Beautiful honeyed Birch pin-striped veneer with satinised steel lip handles, finished off with a black skirting and simple steel legs.

This desk would originally have come with adjustable mirrors, sadly they are missing from the piece now. We think it still works without them, and plenty of space to put a table top mirror on.

Perfect as an occasional desk, but please measure carefully to make sure it would work as an every day desk - would be for smaller folk.

White formica top and glass shelf above. Six drawers with a pull out tray above the centre kneehole.

Condition is good, especially for its age, the veneer has some small spots of wear and dings - but looks great, some fading due to sun, shown in photos - but doesn't detract. Please check photos.
