Extra large vintage black wooden carpenter’s tool box chest drawers storage craft

We have a real penchant for old tool boxes, often super solid and beautifully made. They last for ages and wear their use and history with pride!

This is an especially large one, with heavy duty metal handles at each end. There is a lock but we don't have a key, small swing clasp keeps it closed. We have given it a good clean, but not enough to remove patina and original finish.

Painted finish has had wear and tear over the years, also some chips and small damage to the wood, but the chest is still nice and solid - inner drawers have different size partitions and move nicely now that we have waxed them.
