4 vintage unique G Plan butterfly dining chairs red finish and blue Kvadrat seats

Stunning set of late 50s early 60s butterfly dining chairs, frames a striking red and brand new blue fabric seats.

We believe these are G Plan Librenza butterfly chairs from the late 50s (exact frame profile but finish and backs are now different). Then someone over time has stripped the original finish and given them this striking red varnish, with formica style backrests.

They look incredible, but when they came to us the seat fabric had degraded. So we added new foam, fire regs base cloth and blue Kvadrat top fabric. Creating this lovely contrasting but complimentary colour way.

The frames are solid and strong with no movement, but there is the odd minor scrape and wear to the finish as to be expected for their age. Check photos for more info.
