4 mid century Farso Danish rosewood dining chairs by P. E. Jørgensen

Classic Danish set of dining chairs, that can be used as is or perfect as a project. Some issues and wear as described below.

Made by Farso Stolefabrik in Denmark, they are full of style and really comfy. High quality pieces from the 1960s.

The frames are nice and solid with no movement, but there is a fair bit of wear and marking to the finish. They also have some variety of tone in colour, perhaps due to sun bleaching.

At some point a previous owner has drilled some extra holes in to the bottom of the base to fix the seats on. We have filled and reset the screws in to the original holes.

The seats are pretty good and we believe original, but there is some small scrapes along the edges, a small black mark and two very small holes where someone had screwed too far from the bottom!

These issues are why they are priced a lot lower than usual. Great way to get an absolute classic set of chairs, if you don’t mind a bit of history!
