Vintage stoneware large vase with green & pink floral and leaves by Glyn Colledge

Great vase, wonderful large form swooping up from a small footprint - a shape similar to Chinese jars and pots - but this was made by Glyn Colledge the esteemed English designer and pottery maker.

Colouring and illustrations are amazing, its a beautiful piece that we will be sad to say goodbye to!

No chips or marks, looks great. The signature on the bottom is impressed faintly but unmistakable. Similar ones we have seen also have the Denby mark, so it may well have been made for them.
