Wooden teal blue hallway shelf and toy animal coat hat hooks rhino mammoth elephant

We found this vintage wall shelf, the original finish was in poor shape - so we gave it a brand new lick of teal chalk paint and sealed with oil.

We have made coat hooks for a long time now, normally using simple backboards. The toy animals make for very hardy, strong and fun coat hooks and look great in a kids room but also elsewhere in the house! We have them along our hallway. On this shelf we have set a rhino, mammoth and elephant.

It has got a couple of small scuffs and nicks from being in storage, these are shown in photos and very minor.
