Vintage modernist compact sideboard storage unit with bow top metal handles

Lovely honest piece of furniture that looks very similar to the Utility CC41 furniture - there isn't a mark or stamp that we can find, but equally there might have been a label lost. Seems modelled on a very similar one that Heals produced for CC41.

It is built using simple plywood and minimal detailing, with a warm toned varnish. The metal handles are beautiful and tactile, thin profile with a slight indent in the middle, lovely patina on them.

The top bows out slightly so its not a simple rectangular shape but extends gently at the middle. Loads of storage space, nice and clean and a good compact size.

The piece is solid, doors and drawers all move freely and nicely. The veneer and wood is in good order, but the varnish finish has worn in some places. A couple of spots and marking on the top, plus on the left hand drawer where it has worn away more. Check photos for more info.
