Vintage Ikea Rimbo 1990s bentwood armchair green modernist by Simo Heikillä

Stunning vintage Ikea piece in wonderful condition. Made in the early to mid 90s, its an incredibly comfy armchair, taking iots cues from the early modernist chairs of Alvar Aalto, it uses beech bentwood to create flowing curves and create tension to make a strong a beautiful chair.

All original, the cushion for the main is one piece, attaches via velcro to the body, the head cushion connects with cord through a hole in the back, enabling it to be moved up and down easily.

Very few issues or signs of wear, the fabric has a few minor blemishes but looks and feels lovely.
