Vintage Ercol 845 tv media elm cabinet storage stand with pocket doors

Rarer piece of Ercol furniture, classic shape grain and detailing to be expected from Ercol - but this is a tv cabinet made to tidy away your screen.

The doors, hinge out and then slide back into the cabinet to keep out of the way - subtle but handy bit of design.

The bottom drop down drawer reveals a slide out stand to put a DVD, record player or games console. We think the dividers are sized for VHS.

Cut outs have been thoughtfully placed for wires and access on the inside and for ventilation.

Structurally the cabinet is great. Some wear to the handles to. be expected for their age. There is some damage to the finish along the front of the top, shown in photos. Otherwise the cabinet is very nice and the original globe castors still wheel freely.
