Vintage CC41 Utility Furniture Sideboard mid century oak veneer

Part of the CC41 era of furniture so dates between 1941 and 1951, specifically to create simple but well designed furniture that would use affordable and attainable materials during war time. This was led by Gordon Russell and helped to create some classic pieces that have stood the test of time.

This lovely compact sideboard is still solid and strong, though there are obvious issues with some staining and damage to the veneer on the top. Someone with time could lightly strip this and return it to its glory - or put some nice vases and books on top and ignore it!

Nice drawers that move freely and plenty of storage space either side.
