Vintage carved dark oak sideboard buffet server console table with barley twist columns and crown finials

Amazing antique shelving storage piece with small drawers at the top and bottom. Classic barley twist columns from the columns, broken up with carved floral detailing topped with small crowns on the top! We believe it dates to the 1880s or 1890s but cannot be sure.

Not our normal style of furniture - but we can easily see this in a contemporary clean minimal interior to break it up or as part of a maximalist vibe.

Often called a buffet, server or dumbwaiter - it would have been near the dining room and been used to serve the food from, keep cutlery and general use. But could serve as a great hallway or console table due to being a bit more narrow than most sideboards or shelving.

The frame is strong and solid, nice and heavy as you would expect for something like this. There are some small nicks and marks here or there as you would expect, but it looks amazing for the age.
