Vintage 70s era stool reminiscent of Middle eastern camel seat footstool brass inlay walnut

Great footstool, these were popular in the 1970s and were made to mimic the traditional camel seats - imitating the A frame structure and ornate detailing. Now a vintage piece in its own right, they are beautifully made,

Cushion can be easily lifted out. Brass capped feet protect and keep it nice and solid. The handles make it easy to move and have nice floral detailing. The wood has a great patina and rich grain, possibly walnut.

The frame is in great order, very few marks and looks lovely. Brass inlay is bright and distinct. There are two replacement wingnuts on the underside. The cushion has spots of wear and damage as can be seen in the photos. Perfectly fine to use and comfy, but not mint!
