Pair of vintage mid century wooden side tables with glass tops

Beautiful set of 2 matching tables, could be used together in place of a large coffee table, either side of a bed or as side tables.

Nice crossing detail at the corners with the glass sitting comfortably in the indent. We haven’t managed to find the maker, but we think they date to the late 70s or 80s. Similar to a John Makepeace design.

There are some small surface scratches to the glass and variation in tone in the wood - but all pretty minor. There seems to have been a couple of small historic fixes where a bit of wood filler has been used, but overall they look great.
