Pair of vintage Industrial Steelux chairs with dark and pink floral fabric

Im really chuffed with how this project has turned out, a pair of Steelux chairs from 1967 - one black and one grey. Classic British industrial design.

They came to use with torn grey pvc seats and degraded foam. I wanted to contrast the industrial frames with a pop and a floral flourish. I found some old fabric and the back of the material had these amazing colours and more abstract shapes.

The frames are nice and solid - but have years of use and patina to the finish., check the photos to see the history. We gave them a good clean and a layer of car wax to protect them for years to come.

The seats and backs have new foam and barrier cloth added so are compliant with all fire regulations.
