Multiyork Gloucester two seater sofa with loose cushions pink and purple paisley design

What a sofa! Not a shrinking violet, this couch packs a punch in design and colour. Not our normal vibe but I couldn’t resist this glorious bit of chintz.

It’s by Multiyork from the late 90s, but is in fabulous condition. Multiyork are no longer trading, but made everything in Britain and were a very reliable and high quality maker of furniture.

The sofa is incredibly comfy, proper sprung base and very dense cushions means it’s an old school comfortable sit - not the modern cheapo sofas that have very little engineering involved. Back cushions are filled with duck feathers and very heavy!

The cover can be taken off easily, fixed snugly on with Velcro - so it can be changed or cleaned.
Because of how popular Multiyork were - there are still companies that make replacement covers, so you could recover it with relative ease - knowing that the bones are high quality.

It has all the relevant fire regulations labels.

There are very few issues with condition - some bits on the cover are faded a little, but hard to spot.
