Ercol 'colonial' drop leaf dining table model 377 mid century modern

First designed in the mid 1950s, made up until the mid/late 60s. Distinct cross braces making the frame super strong and a different look to many of the other Ercol tables.

The leaves on the side fold down easily and are supported when up by the sliding mechanism underneath - simple and strong. Make it perfect for a space saving kitchen table or an always up main table.

Its original finish would have been much darker than now, but it had been stripped and then used for a long time, so had many stains and marks.

We have carefully sanded it back and applied a brand new Osmo Poly finish to protect it. Looks fantastic, warm and back to its best. The legs had already been stripped by the previous owner so we have left as is.

Some beautiful dark grain and knots on the top, it looks fantastic close up, rich honeyed finish. Joints, hinges and support mech are all in very good order.
