Large Art Deco style postmodern burr mirror with black panels and finials

What a stunning mirror, echoing Art Deco and Biedermeier influences but with what looks like a postmodern vibe.

We have struggled to date this precisely - we thought from the front it had to be 80s due to the high level of finish and the contemporary looking balls. However the back looks older with aged wood panels rather than a single sheet of wood. So we think it may be older, but cannot be sure.

Neo Classical forms, cut out details, black corners, balls on the top and two tone burr wood - this mirror has them all! We haven't seen another like it, its very well made as you can see from the back - lots of different parts but balanced and beautiful as a whole.

Its in great condition, with some small marks here or there but as photos show they are only small.
